Ashley’s Favorite Reads

Before we dive further into what I’m currently reading, I wanted to share some tidbits about my all time favs! All of which I wholeheartedly recommend for anyone looking to try something new. Enjoy!

Favorite Books:

  • Harry Potter by JK Rowling (Need I say more? I can’t pick a favorite, I love them all)
  • Outlander by Diana Gabaldon (And all of the other books in the series too. SO GOOD! I’ve sworn by them for more than 10 years and re-read on a regular basis)
  • Dark Places by Gillian Flynn (I prefer this one over Gone Girl, personally)
  • The Nightingale by Kristin Hannah
  • What Alice Forgot by Liane Moriarty (And everything else she’s written. Seriously, every single one)
  • Me Before You by Jojo Moyes (Grab the tissues!)
  • The Time Traveler’s Wife by Audrey Niffenegger (Grab some more tissues!)
  • 11/22/63 by Stephen King
  • I Am Pilgrim by Terry Hayes
  • Night Film by Marisha Pessl
  • In the Woods by Tana French (Another great author! Love all of her books. You don’t have to read them in order but you’ll recognize certain characters better if you do)
  • The Chicago Stars Series by Susan Elizabeth Phillips (my “not-so-guilty pleasure” author when in the mood for a light, fun romantic comedy. You can’t get much better than SEP for romance! Trust.)
  • The Da Vinci Code by Dan Brown
  • A Discovery of Witches By Deborah Harkness
  • The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo by Stieg Larsson
  • Jane Eyre by Charlotte Brontë

I feel certain that I’ve forgotten something so there are sure to be additions to this list eventually. In the meantime, happy reading!
